RE: Ive just bought laptop from PC world.. Does tha mean yer dunt know if it teks DVD- or DVD+ discs?
What sort o' laptop is it?

OK CD's it'll write to any CDR. Some rewritables (CDRW) are problematic on older writers but as yours is brand new you shouldn't have any problems. As for DVD's, the easiest is to look at the door of the drive slot. is the logo for DVD-R is the logo for +R. If its got both on it'll write anything.
