For the last 6 seasons everyone has clearly known we dont have an experienced and quality centre half at the club .... So how many managers do we have to go through before we finally get one?????

I can understand Mr Shepherds reasons (the ones he gave) for getting rid of Ritctie, however under Ritchie we showed a far greater togetherness and battling spirit.

Against our last 2 home opponents (Wednesday & Preston) Ritchie got a great performance out of the reds when we played the opposition away from home and on both occasions with 10 men ......... Yet now the new management team seem happy to brush off losses because we played so called better opposition???????

Like everyone else I will continue to follow the Reds through thick, thin and thinner however Mr Davey's and Shepard need to take a serious look at the attitude they are now generating within the team........... if you tell someone enough times they are not expected to win against teams higher in the division thats EXACTLY WHAT THEY WILL GIVE YOU.

Remember the end of last season and the beginning of this one ..... We were proud to be a Barnsley fan when we showed a pride in the shirt, battling performaces and on occasions were a little naive and unlucky (Away at Preston, Washday and Derby, Home to Cardiff, Wolves and Leeds) ..... I personally think we we have just been missing an experienced and quality Centre Half!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UNFORTUNATELY AGAINST WASHDAY AND PRESTON AT HOME WE HAVEN'T SHOWN ANY FIGHT FOR THE CAUSE AND IN 180 MINUTES OF PLAY AGAINST THESE 2 TEAMS WE HAVE NOT MADE THE GOALKEEPER MAKE ONE SAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND THE WORSE PART OF IT ALL ........Mr Davey says he's happy with the teams performance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    See you all on Tuesday
