How the hell are people judging Hayes, the team, Ritchie et al on friendly performances? It doesn't matter at all what happens in friendlies what so ever. We lost 2-1 at home to a team thats probably going to go up back to Premiership next year and some people would think we'd just lost to Cambridge United.

Hayes is apparently too flash, so no doubt Enoch and the rest will keep in there seat every time the lad scores next season. Give me a lad with a bit of flash and wanting to try something a bit different that watching a team of cloggers hoofing down the park every week.

All the matters is what starts from 3pm next Saturday at Swindon. Get behind the team, this negative tripe and constant knocking of players is 30% of the reason we find ourselves in the third tier of football for our third season.

I personally think that we'll go up, hopefully as one of the top two. Forest and Bristol City are the only two teams that concern me in this league.

Get behind the lads, they need us. Yes, if things aren't going well by Xmas then please feel free to whinge and moan as much as you like but the seaosn hasn't even kicked off and people are slagging off new players, the team, tactics.

    Sweet Jesus.

    Sheff...

Some people seem to stay alive by moaning about BFC... unfortunate but true.

We played pretty well today and deserved a draw - not bad against as you say, a good team who I cannot see finishing outside the top 6 of the Championship this season.

Well I haven't been to the pre season matches, but I've read quite a lot of reports and spoken to people who went. The team seem to be doing OK to me. If it's down to the Leeds game, then did we expect to thrash them? Are we expected to win every game? What sort of fans are we?

Have you ever seen Hayes play?how do you judge a footballer, just because hes a new signing should he get away with negative performances?the Scnuthorpe fans have warned us of his laziness, all im saying is on his 3 performances that i have seen he could be an expensive signing,He will cost us at least £100,000,Nardiello was free, what do you think?

I shouldnt say negative performances from Hayes i should say very average performances,Nardiello was free,we have just given Boulding away,Hayes will cost minimum £100,000,is he £100,000 better than Nardi?

    Hayes

Against Hull, he was very good, worked hard, tackled defenders, linked up well with Nardiello and Robbie Williams. 8/10.

Against Leeds, played with Conlon, which really can't have helped him, Conlon was slower than I remember. Hit a very good shot from the corner of the box which was tipped wide, again worked hard, and has a good and clever touch. 6 or 7 outta 10.

I think the main thing is the link-up with Nardiello, and for me, it was definitely there. He'll get goals, he gets in the right positions, and those two will be a good partnership.

He's young, and I think he'll be a very good acquisition.

correct I dont think Hayes will be any better than Boulding but many people would lead you to believe otherwise.

lets just say whos playing in the championship.

We have plenty to look forward to,the emergence of Tonge and Robbie, the steady improvement of Mcphail who seems now to be grasping whats required of him,the debuts of Howard and Kell,we still have a decent chance this season.

    "undisclosed"

is the official line. that means we prob done a deal that bfc don't want us to know and is prob a bit over odds. something like £50k after 40 appearances and £100k if we get promoted
