"The parents of the girl complained to the PCC after the picture was published in the April 2007 edition of FHM. They said the photo was taken in 2005 when their daughter was 14." So no explanation as to how a topless picture of their, then, 14 year old daughter came about!
2 points worry me 1) The magazine had been informed that the complainants' daughter was in a cohabiting relationship with the person who submitted the photograph and, in those circumstances, no further enquiries about the image were made I wouldn't let my daughter at 14 move out and cohabit with somebody 2) Dreamboy, in my opinion you could only find this article in themedia section of the guardian (which is very obscure) if you searched for topless 14 year olds.
RE: 2 points worry me Radio 1 Newsbeat brought up the story and I was surprised to hear it and checked on Google for a reputable story link for it. I think broad sheet Guardian is reputable compared to Daily Star for example
Actually I stumbled across this story myself while looking around the Guardian, so it can be done. I've yet to 'stumble across' said photo on the internet tho...
