Fiat punto help

    Anybody know if it if possible to get a new fob for my immobilier without having to buy a whole new system, my button is ruined and won't press properly

    The problem with the Punto is that the key is uniquely coded to the immobiliser, so if yer lose/break the key the engine management needs fiddling with/replacing.</p>

    Expensive job. I'd ask around local garages and see what they can do as the mainstream dealers will shaft you good and proper.</p>

    Or tha could bin it and buy a Panda. :)

    try ebay pal you will need the lockset and ecu quite easy to replace we have just done it for a guy that lost his keys if it hadnt been coded i would have removed the barrel and had a key cut but because the are coded we were fecked the full set with ecu (engine management unit ) £70 off ebay

    Do you have key care under your insurance cover? If so your key could be reported as lost then you get a new one. I have that cover under Marks & Spencer insurance
