    Could this cause problems?

I'm remembering what happened in Yugoslavia when Tito died. I realise there are differences. In Yugoslavia there were a number of ethnic differences who were tied in by him, and when Tito died, they recognised the opportunity to demand their independence.

But in the US there are still plenty of Cubans who either fled when Castro came to power, or are the descendants of people who fled, and they still hold the idea of going back and taking control again. Plus the US, for all their promises, would like nothing better than to see a more compliant regime in Cuba.

It will be interesting to see what could develop in the next couple of months.

Just means that if you fancy going to Cuba then go this year. It will soon be Disney Island.
