Haven't played Fifa since I was about 15. It's so incredibly unrealistic, but I understand there's not that many people who want realism. Not only the actual game play where players are like machines, but the transfers in career mode are hilarious
I signed Dembele on loan from Bournemouth and he got me around 35 goals, he is quick on the game. I have Barlaser, Kane and another midfielder. Cadden left-back, Andersen, a young defender on loan from Manu and Rob Edwards RB. I also re-called Styles from Millwall and played him in midfield and that worked well. Patrick Roberts and Devante cole wide in a 4-2-3-1 formation.
Wednesday and Ipswich came top 2. Wycombe 3rd, I finished 4th, Portsmouth and Posh. I scraped past Portsmouth in the play-offs in ET but won the final easy, I was 4 up at HT.
My gripe with Fifa is that it's trying to be realistic, but isn't. I much preferred Pro Evo because that felt more arcade like. More of a game and less of a simulation. If I do fancy a game, I still play Pes 19. They killed it when they rebranded as e-football, but as a casual gamer, the arcade feel of the old Pes games still has a an appeal to me.
In the game play it's the pace of it. Not sure what it's like now but just have the fastest players and you'll win. It's trying to be a real life game but 10x the speed
