Neville at right back, Left midfield, Downing's injured, so give Etherington a run, or Peter Whittingham.

    Peter Whittingham?

Are you sure? He's only just got a few more villa games under his belt this season. Was ignored pretty much from Christmas onwards last season and went off to Burnley.</p>

Gary Neville is by far the best right back in this country, not only for his defensive play but his ability to get up and down the wing all game, his organisation and constant talking as well. Him playing for Utd just clouds most peoples thoughts on him. England miss him as do Utd when he's not playing.

No Beckham? again as he played for Utd and is now a superstar people berate him but there is still a need for him in the team - but maybe not as captain (Neville anyone?)

I agree with another poster somewhere that while wright phillips can run fast and has scored the odd superb goal (Martin Bullock anyone?) for me he is a sub that we could bring on to liven the last 15 minutes up (again, Bullock anyone?)
