If you went to the Match on Saturday and cannot always afford to go ,now is the time to get behind the Team and give something for Ian Hume to smile about after what he's been through.Make an extra special trip to Oakwell for Humie on Saturday ,you never know it might improve his recuperation.

It was paraded on the pitch at Oakwell on the opening day of the season and I wondered whether it is in the club's hands now? One of the most enduring images of last season for me was seeing the giant Liverpool flag being passed from one end of the Kop to the other at Anfield .... made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end, along with the strains of "You'll Never Walk Alone." I would love to see us recreate that kind of effect at Oakwell and wondered if there would be any possibility of approaching the flag's owners to see if they would allow it to be used for that purpose. I think it would be a real confidence-booster for the players to look out and see that image as they run onto the pitch and it fits in well with the club's 'Stronger Together' campaign. If the Wembley flag can't be used, we could even look into the possibility of having one custom-made, subject to raising sufficient funds (perhaps BBS posters could contribute?). I would welcome comments about my suggestion. TIA.
