Strange fact#346 (or maybe not): Ian Beale (real name Adam Woodyatt) used to be pen-pals with Fired when they were about 10 years old. He responded to Fi's request for pen-pals in Match, or Shoot magazine. She's probably got his really cheesy photo somewhere (or maybe not).

I don't know where the photo is! Heartbreak! Hehe.

    Adam Woodyatt memories.......
He lived in Snaresbrook, but supported Liverpool, and his favourite player was Sammy Lee.
He did tell me lots of other stuff, but Sammy Lee was the regular theme!

Good God no!! He really was my "pen pal" (back in the day before texts, messenger and Facebook, when people could acyually write letters!) when I was about 11/ 12. We exchanged letters for a few years.

Then one day, about 6 years later, I was watching the credits roll for Eastenders, (having watched it for the previous year) ... and lo and behold, there was my pen-pal....crap claim to fame, but there it is.
