I enjoyed it.
I feel the contract is not as much on the table but in the brand new wheely bin outside Gords office.
The bin in question is one of the new green ones so the new manager might well be signing the recycled version.
I agree with Gord though...
Why should we be offering a contract at this point when he has 8 months left. The mistake he made was after the Wednesday approach when he said he would open contract talks to keep Wednesday away.

but crucially? he also said........... if he'd wanted rid of AR he'd have let Fowls talk to him and get compo
I know... It does seem apparent that at that time we were playing well-ish and were outside of the relegation places.
The Owls come in & Gord knocks them back.
Then he makes the misatke of thinking everything was rosy and we were looking good to stop up so talk to Radio Sheff about starting contract talks with AR, when this really wasn't necessary.
Now the wheels have come off and rightly Gord wants to wait.

he also said he is not dealing with it but the lawyers are and nothing has changed as it is up to the club to make a offer now!
