google earth on train to medowhall yesterday one of my friends said he had followed the track from Barnsley to Meadowhall on Google Earth when he had been bored other friend said something like "did it follow the train on its own or did you have to keep up by moving the camera yourself?"
RE: google earth My missus and I travel a lot via Dover-Calais en-route from Hamburg to Barnsley. One day she was looking on Google Earth and saw a ferry just entering the harbour. A few days later she looked again and expressed surprise to see that it was still there. I tried to explain but soon gave up.
