I can't believe some of the comments about yesterday's game... My thoughts... Bradford came with a game plan- smash n grab! They weren't over physical, just experienced, experience and a striker that Barnsley are short of. Apart from Nyatanga this was my first chance to see the others live... My assessment based on what I saw. Adam Davies- no problem looks solid Lewis Nyatanga- good player, needs to be centre half, looks awkward at full back. Alfie Mawson- fabulous signing, will make money on him. Marc Robertd- reminds me of a Carl Tiler, easiest bargain of the season. Reece Wabara- steady away but not match fit yet. Marley Watkins- potential for me but upfront not on wing. Ben Pearson- I thought he was poor but know he will do better. Connor Houranne- Got skill but looked all over the place position wise. Dan Crowley-undoubted skill but looked a little lost. Josh Scowen- best player for me although nearly cost us. Sam Winnal- like him but he's not a lone striker, bits n pieces striker, needs support. Hard to assess subs, new lad Kadeem needs to use his pace, had a couple of chances to knock the ball down the line and use it but didn't. I do think the team has loads of potential and patience will be needed, I have no fear of us looking over our shoulders this season and have a good platform to build on! Keep the faith. Oh and....might as well turn scoreboard off, it's embarrassing lol

I hope not, but work and family mean it's rare to get to games but where ever I am my ears are glued to the radio. No matter what div, how they play I will support them. I was born a Barnsley fan, I had no option! But I do think we will be fine, too many fans are quick to jump on the negative wagon. Once a red always one!
