sat in the lower west stand for a change, sorry for the swearing kids.

First half was one of the worse displays I have seen for a few seasons. We were that bad. No shape at all, the only real idea seemingly was to hoof it up to the giants that are Jon Macken and Ian Hume. Howard seemed to be playing in front of the back four so the ineffectual Leon could erm, do nothing (apart from nearly gift them a goal). Howard was rendered pretty much redundant in the first half as a result.

El Houmir deserves a special mention for being very lightweight, poor in the air and having little positional sense. Kozluk and Disco did OK but the rest were fairly poor. Steele did well.

Darren Moore gave us some very hair raising moments and on this display he is not good enough to be our number one centre back. Sorry, but he's too slow. He may be OK to come on last 20 mins to defend a lead but he will make too many mistakes and get beaten for pace too many times in my opinion.

Second half and more of the same until Davey changed things around for which he deserves credit. Odejayi changed the game in my opinion and Hume looked twice the player on the wing. Hassell in central midfield was also a good tactical change as Derby were walsing through our "Midfield".

Odejayi won pretty much most things hoofed up to him and provided a threat. He caused problems for them in the box for Hume's strike, which was class and took the defender away for Fozzie's header.

Overall the second half display was much improved on the first half catastrophe, which was simply not good enough. On the whole, I am disappointed with the new signings, as they seem to add nothing to the team (apart from Hume who looked decentn the wing).

Lots of work to be done Im afraid but well done Luke Steele on an excellent display and well done for the teams display after the introduction of Odejayi and Hassell. Still a big question mark over Davey's inability to sign a defensive midfielder over the summer, it nearly cost us today.

Oh and the ref was w*nk.

    It is Davey's fault

he signed him, he should have seen it might happen. Can't go back to Hassell in the middle. Better than howard and leon tho. Derby went through us each time. We were v lucky. Get it sorted or bring in another defensive midfielder.

Spot on that mate, my sentiments also. Love him or hate him Odejayi certainly changed the game. Fantastic goal from Hume, and Foster, but you summed the game up and the inadequacy of some of our players to perfection. (Y)
