Don't get to many games now due to work getting in the way....will get the negatives out of the way, £5 parking to get stuck in a jam (at least had radio deedar to listen to). Thanks to the ladies for processing my tickets today despite me having difficulties with ticketmaster. Well well what can I say, I did not have high expectations having only to go off people's views on here and from other media sources but...I believe in the manager and what he stands for and how the bloody hell he gets these young unknown players to run their blood dry is quite remarkable. These players and the management are feeding the 5 thousand with a few loaves and fish. You can have your £5, 7, 10 15million pound players but you can't beat 100% effort and togetherness that this new young team has. Yes we will get battered, yes they will make mistakes but I do believe that our players won't hide like the majority of Sunderland players did today, some of them on 50k plus a week!!!!! They deserve our support and today.....although never ever doubted it reminded me why I love my town, my team and the club I was born to support! Well done Mr Heckingbottom and the team. PS Liam Lindsay and the boy MacArthy will be top players IMO
Agreed about the car park and the match. Pearson is another player worth a mention as well. I still don't think he's a full back, and he makes a few mistakes BUT his attitude and enthusiasm is absolutely top notch. I think he's got a good future ahead of him.
Pearson has a lot of heart and I agree will get better; he gave the ball away too much quite easily in fact but I'm sure he and Hecky will sort that. Twice in vulnerable positions that better opposition on the day wouldve exploited. However, I refuse to criticise any of that team as the potential is fantastic and it's a Sheff W (massive) step up for them all!
