They seem to think that the wrong player was booked, and the one who should have been was already on a yellow. At first sight I thought it was Richards who went in with the elbow, but then Howard seemed to take the card. Is this right? They say the player (Richards?) will get a red card anyway. http://boards.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=910&p=16&style=1&forumId=6590&action=1&replytoid=532346179
Think theve got the bookings wrong way round Howard booked first for the elbow then should have been booked for a foul but another of our players owned up to it to keep Howard on the pitch, but yes, if it is investigated and we are proven to have deliberatly predjudiced the corse of justice we could be in a spot of bovver
Was the other foul down the wing? Was it Heckingbottom who took the booking? I thought there were a few who could have made it, Devaney was there as well...
it was heckingbottom due to a lung on one of their players plane as day to me that hecky should have been booked - dunt no where people are getting this idea of the ref booking the wrong player?????
I was thinking the same Richards got the ball in a sliding tackle and then a second later Howard fouled there player.</p>
