When Ferenczi was through, there was only one place the ball was going and that was in the net. Scoring after 20 seconds would have calmed some nerves. We are defending too deep and i'm not liking the long ball. We need a quick second to relax a little easier.
I'm REALLY sick of Colgan pretending he's going to throw the ball ...then kicking it. How many times in a match does he do it? Does ANYONE believe he'll throw it? Christ no. Stop doing it Nick. It's annoying to think you MIGHT try an alternative strategy to "long pointless hoof".
Agree but defending well, if we can soak it up and break.... closing down brilliant but could do with taking game upfield after break
Weak link - Austin Getting the run-around from Lawrence and keeps giving the ball away. Davey has to tighten it up down that flank 'cos that's where we look weakest.
watched about 20 minutes (missed the goal). To be honest Stoke are the only team playing football. I didn't notice one episode of football from barnsley. Goals win games but a truly awful spectacle. Left the pub too depressed. We might be joining you next season god help us.
Full Time.......... and boy i'm relieved. We defended really well for the whole 90 minutes. BUT why was we defending so deep ? It wasn't the best match to watch as a Barnsley fan. Istvan is a top top striker who might just not be with us long. A win on Saturday will make things look really good for us. Maybe Davey is the right man for the job afterall. Shhhhh.
