Gareth Southgate

already been told he's got 10 games to save his job. Could possibly get beaten by whoever is in charge at QPR these days.

Paul Sturrock must be in with a shout

Unlike us they don't seem to see survival in the Championship as success

D'ya honestly think Wancock will get sacked when he's best mates with Chairman?

Until Jordan sells up i doubt he'll be going know where.

    No, you misunderstand ........

....... it's a prediction for when that happens, there will be no backing for him at all then, all the positivity that's around now (and for some reason started about an hour after the Plymouth game) will be history.

You see when things go wrong, all the 'Davey lovers' either jump ship onto the side of all those who have wanted shut of him for ages, or they go very, very quiet, like the last month of last season when they thought we were getting relegated

    Whereas you hate Davey

and no matter what happens you'll wait for us to get beat to be one of the first to say I told you so. I actually think you'd rather see us lose if it means the manager getting the sack, which is very very sad indeed.

Wrong, I hope we win the league and both cups ...

.... and I would then gladly admit I was wrong.

But we will be relegated, then you lot can say I was right!!!

Dou you really think we'll go down ?

I am normally a 'half empty' person but i don't think we will. I'm just sitting back an looking forward to the season to unfold without giving too much thought to the shape of the league table. Youmay be right BUT likewise you may not be. Maybe we get a repeat of 96/97 when the bookies favourites for relegation confounded the odds and were promoted.... no ... wait a minute .... NURSE ... HELP ....!!!!!

We are dead certs to go down at the moment .........

....... we have a worse team/squad than we had when the game ended at Plymouth so unless we improve the squad drastically what else can happen?

We were bookies favourites to go down last season...

but I bet no one predicted that the bottom three would have been Norwich Soton and Charlton.

I suggest also that the squad is smaller at the moment but the transfer window is open for another month then there is the loan system. Now in my opinion this is not ideal but what should SD and PC do. It is my opinion that SD will have been running around like a blue arsed fly over the summer but you can't force players to sign. I feel that some players will be keeping their options open until the last minute to see if so called 'bigger' clubs will pick them up.
