Been reading all the comments on behaviour etc, and i saw some pretty poor stuff on Wembley Way, but witnessed a funny incident, which silenced about 12 City fans, who were becoming abusive towards us in our hotel bar after the match.</p> In the bar were a family of 4, mum dad and 2 kids,all City, fans, we had a drink with them, nice family. On our left were 12"chavs" beginning the abuse etc, at whicjh stage i was biting back, however the man who was with the family of 4 came over, and picked up my mates wallet, which had dropped on the floor, and gave it back to him, it had over £500 in it, plus cards. The abuse continued, "should have kept it off the English barrsteward etc"</p> My mate goes to the bar, orders abottle of Moet, and 4 glasses, takes it across the the family of 4 and pops the cork, offers his thanks and congrtatulations to them, they were very touched, we walked out and the "chavs" were lost for words, and as we walked through them to get out, my mate said, "thats how to be gracious in defeat, you cant even manage it in victory" they were gobsmacked, so funny to see their vocabulary dry up, they really could not understand the gesture, or how to handle the fact they had been humiliated.(Y) (Y) (Y) Top man Rich.......Had to share this.</p> </p>
