I don't think AVB will last very long at spurs, i can even see them trying to get harry bac once they show him the door
Proper laughing at that. Over-rated, you've got to be joking. He will never be sacked and sadly I think he will do a Jock Stein. He's too committed to his job to ever retire, and even if he steps down from being a manager he will not disappear into the background. As for the original subject of the thread, my money would be on Mark Hughes.
Ok Mr Canada (yes Ive got a map and I know where Calgary is lol)... We'd all like Fergiescum at our club wouldnt we, hes an absolute piece of crap but you cant argue with his record. But I would love to see him manage a Lg Two (the old English Division Four) club with no money and no bum kissing power with the FA and with Sky etc..
I hope you will be very happy together. What is the wedding night like when one is in Durkar and the other is in deepest coldest Canada ? Is he a magician
Now I AM laughing! Durkar Red is correct with the "Mrs" bit, but I don't think I've ever met him, so I can't say that we're particularly happy together (ha ha). As for "deepest coldest Canada", well you're right for 3 months of the year, but it was 30C today and we've had a typically hot, dry summer so far (high 20Cs/low 30Cs since early July). Anyway, back to the topic of football: I think that Ferguson proved himself when he was at Aberdeen - no budget at all and went on to win the European Cup Winners Cup. He managed Man Utd on a (relative) shoestring when he first went there - I say "relative" meaning with respect to the millions thrown at Cit-eh and Chelski and Blackburn (way back when). IMO, he has grown the club's wealth almost single-handedly over the past 25 years or so - the millions he (sometimes) has available to him is from self-generated funds, not a sugar daddy. In that regard, given all the trophies he has won he earns my absolute respect. Not everyone will agree with me, but that's my take on him anyway.
What, die of a heart attack in the main stand at Hampden? Fingers crossed, there's a load of international fixtures next week ;-)
