We had 2 players on the bench who between them had scored more goals than the rest of the outfield players put together. Why? I don't think any of the players who were picked played too bad, even Nouble, BUT, we need to score goals, its no good Cardiff scoring their only chance, because its all they needed to do because we had zero chances at home against frankly shockingly average hoof ball merchants. Anyone with some guts would have put at least 1 more striker on at half time, because they were there for the taking, but not with 1 upfront. Poor show from Hill, if we're going to go down, lets go down playing 1 holding midfielder, 3 attacking and 3 strikers - we could have murdered them, no guts no glory. Time to unleash the dogs of war and play to win, we have sign that dude from Huddersfield, why not play him ffs?????? Sad fact is it Seems like Hills cracked up imho
That would be Gray and Davies on the bench Attack dogs to strike fear in the opposition They had Earnshaw on their bench. And it wasn't Bob Trouble is we have no creative midfield now. So you could play Macy Gray and Mervyn Davies upfront and the result would be the same. Keith has introduced duracell runaround clones who cannot exceed their stated functions. None as yet even have the "score goal" activate button
The reason the two plays were on the bench was because of the lack of goals, I thought we played well but the front two players just didn't offer enough.
We played 80 minutes with Tonge playing off Nouble - hardly going to strike the fear of god into the opposition is it?
Well I'm sure that if we had someone anywhere near Earnshaw's scoring record then the crowd would not welcome him warming the bench. Plus if you think he's always been gash, then your opinion is in my own opinion, gash. And you will find your own opinion gash
