The sand round the pitch looks ****. Get it weeded.
The PA system wasnt on in all the stands. This is a problem that has been in place since the england womens game.
Over policing. why do we need 8 policemen guarding an empty west stand? the hull fans were outnumbered by police.
People working in refreshment stands are aged 8 and under. I didnt see one of them behind the counter.
    Matt carbon scares me.
Is rick holden a coach or physio? or is he doing 18 peoples jobs while we cut the cloth?

    it was on

but just not from the speakers in the stands. I THINK it was the emergancy PA that was on which would indicate that the problem hasnt been fixed from around 6 months ago.

You couldnt hear it in the seating areas and if there was an emergancy nobody would know about it.

    The PA system isn't broken...

The club forgot to ask anyone to come and do the job.

Me and Steve were approached 45 minutes before the kick off to see if we could do it or at least turn it on... erm... not our job.

I've no idea... There wasn't going to be the scoreboard or even any music at 7pm.

Basically the club assume people are going to do things without asking them. Apparently there aren't even going to be any groundstaff at the Open Day.

from the looks of the weeds growing all around the ground

and the state of the track around the pitch with a full head of turf growing on it we dont have any groundstaff anyway. At least no competent ones.

If shepherd had a clue at all he would walk around the ground and give somebody a bollocking about the state of the place but he obviously doesnt care about that. On the plus side the exec suite has new pictures...

I must say that did look unsightly. It was also really uneven unlike last season... I had to seriously watch where I was going to avoid turning my ankle, rather odd.

somebody threw the ball back onto the pitch.

it hit the 'track' and stopped dead. If that isnt dangerous for a player to be rnning onto then i dont know what is.

It was the bit behind the goal at the Ponty end which was really uneven, they don't warm up there, I don't remember the side of the pitch being too bad, but it should be sorted for definite.

I must admit I was quite shocked by it... but I have to be careful what I say.

when oakwell AM is back on air properly

will there be any chance of you or someone suggesting that callers ring the show to express their views on the catering at oakwell? of course you can put a positive spin on it and then it isnt your fault if the calls are negative is it

We do have a number for folk to call while we're on air but it'll only go through to the studio rather than live on air... 01226 2 1575 2

We unfortunately don't have a phone in after the game at the moment, mainly due to the fact that we guess that most folk tune in to Radio Sheffield after a game to get all the local news in more detail etc.

If enough people wanted us to do a phone in, I'd happily host it if no-one else would, but it needs a demand.

    Don't suppose

there's any chance of expanding the broadcasting range so I can get it in Worksop?

Also, am I right in thinking it's only home games you cover? If so, how about doing away games?

A phone in owuld interest me by the way.

It probably would lol... do a poll if yer like and see how many would be bothered. If there's a decent few then I'll put the idea to Steve. I have mentioned it before, but he said he didn't think there'd be the demand.
