Quantum leap in picture quality from last season's non-HD variety. No commentary though. Good to see some of those moves again. The one where Jackson hit the bar was fantastic. Searching long ball from Pearson and some instant one-touch passing between Wilkinson and Jackson ended with a terrific shot against the bar. Even the Hudds fans will have been impressed with that (surely?). Great finish from Winnall - it was a poor back pass from Dempsey but he just took one sidestep to wrong-foot the keeper and then lashed it in. I thought Holgate had backheeled it in, but it was a side footer facing the goal. Scowen corner and our bomb blast huddle did the trick again. Mason just ghosted in and met the corner with a great finish. He's becoming a regular goalscorer! They didn't show Cranie cleaning out Scowen, or any of the other nasty fouls on our players. Wonder if there will be a full match version on tomorrow? Probably not. Even the five minutes was good to see anyway.
It looked even better at the time, some of the best football I've ever seen from our team. It was started off by a brilliant strong tackle from Digby in the centre, who I was impressed with yesterday to be fair. The funny thing being, the best move of the entire match was created by 2 loanees, a trialist, and a player who could well leave in the next few days. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
I hope we keep Digby, I really do. He could make us some serious money in a couple of seasons from now. Just watching it again and that linesman down the west stand side was just hopeless. He flagged SSW offside when it was played to him by a defender. Watkins came in from onside and scored but it was ruled out. Stupid decision.
Yes just the one. There have been games in the past with multi-cameras but I think those are only the ones covered by outside broadcasters. The camera work leaves a lot to be desired sometimes as well. Focusing on an advertising hoarding for example was a favourite last season, or homing in on a player who had nothing to do with what just happened. That terrific block tackle from Roberts in the second half was a good example. Instead of zooming in on him being congratulated for his work the camera went to the near post and one of their players leaning against it. Little nit picking, I know, but the camera operator needs to be a bit more switched on sometimes.
