If the club needed a fiver from you to keep the club going and you get nothing other than knowing the club survives would you give it?
Would I? without question - there's a seat in the east stand with my name on it -i dont even sit on it - and a brick in the wall etc. I even got a true red bond! Even got 2 certificates. one signed by Ridsdale, one by Gordon Shepherd to replace it! The pillocks on here moaning about an extra sky diver ought to remember the darker days. And also should remember that cup ticket revenue is shared 50/50 and so if the club really wanted to sell out the fans, they could have switched the game to Old Trafford and charged £50 plus a ticket. Half of £25 x about 20 000 or half of £50 x about 75 000 - lets just be real for a minute, its £25, it isn't actually that much, the club hasn't sold anybody out, it is, at worst, looking after its own interests. Good for them.
If you enter the names of the people moaning about the price into the search page and look at their previous posts, I bet a lot of those posts will be ones moaning about summat. Not happy unless they're moaning, miserable b*ggers. Just watch when the tickets go on sale there will be threads a mile long moaning about poor organization, box office not open long enough etc.
£25 to see the premier league champions at home with an atmosphere, cracking value. could have been worse, could have been £45 to sit at the theatre of silence. stop bloody moaning, money in our club.
RE: Would I? Its only a fiver for one adult which is oreight but spare a thought for them with a few kids then it soon mounts up. This is where the club get some payback for free Child seats. Pressure from kids to parents to go to the game.
RE: Gave a tenner to have name plague on back of my seat nt Now i'm all for doing my bit for the club, BUT, There's no way i'd pay good money to catch the black death I take it that's not what you meant LiverpoolRed...
