Vaguely interesting piece about how they compile the fixture lists each season here. So you'll know who to blame, by name, for when you have to travel to Plymouth on a Tuesday night.

 

I can't be bothered to read it all, but I thought Davey said a couple of years ago that they're asked which clubs they'd rather travel to in mid-week.

 

Very interesting piece. No mention however of SKY's involvement in the process. It must therefore just be coincidence that the Big four are grouped together in some way on the same weekend every season so SKY can have a Super Gigantic Super Sunday.

A questionnaire is sent out to all clubs so they can put in requests, as can the police.

I agree with the post below though... it must be a complete coincidink that Sky get their Super Duper Mega Sunday.

to avoid negative effects on attendance- not necessarily from the same league (ie dagenham choose west ham)
