Leicester, Derby, Sunderland and Hull i've been to this season, and all their grounds are exactly the same barring Hull, who must have paid some pikey's to knock that one up because its piss poor.
they're all exactly the same apart from the colours of the seats and the upper tiers in some of them, and they look like they have just come out of a box.
no one as any imagination for stadiums no more unless they have loads of money i.e Arsenal.
the best grounds and what i call proper grounds are the ones with the 4 traditional stands like Oakwell, Molyneaux, Galpharm etc . . .
dont ya agree???

There wasn't a bad seat in the house, it holds 32,000 and cast £36,000,000. They have a good catchment area, and i thought the ground was great,
except Arsenals????? if you are going to moan at least get your facts correct. Arsenal's ground is identical to the satdium of light in lisbon.
RE: except Arsenals????? The stadium of light's in Sunderland. Estadio Da Luz is in Luz in Lisbon. "Stadium of Light" is a misnomer - it's known as the cathedral in portugal.
Here ends "What I learnt at the Euro's".

RE: except Arsenals????? Luz, which means light, is the name of the area in Lisbon that the stadium is in. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Estádio_da_Luz
RE: except Arsenals????? Isn't that just a bigger, posher flat pack? Sort of Ikea instead of MFI? Of course new stadiums are going to look similar, theres only so much you can do with the design when the main priority is the views for spectators.
RE: except Arsenals????? I've never understood the 'no atmosphere' thing that a lot of people post about these new 'flat pack' stadiums.
Surely it's the fans inside that create the atmosphere, not the metal box that you're sat in. Generally when i'm inside a ground watching a game I can't see what the architecture on the outside looks like anyway.
I mean I've been to Oakwell many times and it's stands to me look very flatpack, (apart from the west stand) the east stand is a breeze block shell skinned in metal with minimal facilities, the ponty end is just a sloping set of seats built into a square box etc. It's a nice stadium and i'm very proud of it but it's got no more atmosphere than any of the newer grounds.

hull's stadium is absolutley awesome, u chat some **** mate. sunderland's is great too and leicster's was class
i thought it was **** leicesters. there all the same now-a-days. only thing they change is the capacity. donnys will be exactly the same as the others that were mentioned earlier in the thread
There's nothing unique or traditional about the stands at Oakwell except the West Stand. The lego bowl shaped stadiums are no less bland than the lego single and two tier stands at probably 70% of the clubs. I think the chances are when the west stand gets redeveloped at Oakwell the corners might be filled in.
