    To be fair they'll have to wait for investigation to run its course. Sack him without charges being brought by police or FA and he'll be filing for unfair dismissal.

    They are probably just following legal advice. I'd be surprised if they don't take action once they've had a chance to discuss at board level.

    Agreed not a good look and the owner will have to explain why that happened. Though technically it's not an offence because he wasn't under arrest at the time and they won't have 'officially' known he was a person of interest. It's bad look though.

    What happened to innocent until proven guilty?
    For legal reasons theirs and the FA hands are tied to an extent in that they have to wait for any Police investigation to run its course.

    Yea true and they could sack him for footballing reasons, but it would be a lot safer to suspend him let events run the course then let him go.

    Should have been put on at least gardening leave pending investigation. People saw what happened so I arent sure why he hasn't already been sacked. The longer Fleetwood take to deal with it, the worse they will look as a club. I suspect Barton will take training as usual in the morning.

    What's the difference between fleeing the ground and going home? Just so I know what to avoid when leaving work tomorrow in case anyone is filming me and I look suspicious.
