....along with Davies (who I think made a particularly exceptional early save to push it onto the post) deserve credit today. The rest were poor. For their last minute equaliser, what sticks in the mind is Mawson failing to attack the ball with a header, and instead weakly tapping it out for a throw in to them. From which they went on to score. Thus has the wrong attitude cost us a win. Not just Mawson. They all were at it. But as for the game overall, only Fletcher Roberts and Davies should be satisfied.
Agree with that. A lot of the players looked very casual, and it's not the only time that's happened recently. In fact, it's been the same the last 5 or 6 home games. Turning up and expecting to not have to work for the points, and it's bitten them hard today. Very, very unprofessional and while they can be proud of this season they should be ashamed of what happened this afternoon.
I really like Mawson, terrific ball playing centre half but he had an absolute nightmare today. The attitude that annoys me the most is that of Hammill who seems to think we've all turned up to watch him and his non tricks time after time.
Braindead/suicidal football last 10/15 mins. Some hard home truths needed telling in that dressing room after match
They don,t if the manager told em to do it and I,m sure he did.Hecky has done a good job but for me he,s too negative but hey we,ll find out next week!
