Could this updated from Boro signal the end of any hope of getting Fletcher back on loan? NEWS FROM MIDDLESBROUGH... Tony Pulis says he’s had loan offers for 4 or 5 of his players, but he will only sell in this window. — Keith Downie (@SkySports_Keith) January 26, 2018
I didn't think he was worth the 7 million when they bought him. And I think more people thought it was a bit excessive. Would he be worth 3 million by now though? I'm finding it hard to put a price tag on players with relatively little experience.
On goal scoring record alone probably not, but there is good potential there so you could argue given time he could become a 10 million plus player. In the current market with prices being so inflated its so hard to pin point what any player is actually 'worth'
Not this window, possibility of season long loan or buy for next season in the summer or buy next Jan. Boro lose too much dosh if he goes now for 3m or similar, but pressure to get rid and recoup grows the longer time runs on
Dunno, if he's surplus to requirements they'll cut their losses and take half. The longer he sits on their bench, the more his value falls.
Don’t understand the excitement surrounding Fletcher. He was fine in L1 but has hardly pulled up any trees since.
They'd want too much, he'd want too much. Hopefully he'll sign for Wednesday, they only need one more signing for a transfer embargo.
