About as affective as Stephen Dawson on wing.

This has always been my worry, that they would try to shoehorn scowen and brownhill in a 4-4-2

This is where our down fall is. Playing folk out of position. It unbalances the team. Drop one of the 2 centre mids. I'd rather not make that call like on which one but playing out of position to accommodate makes us less effective.

No Tuton on bench either. Light up front with only Harris as cover.

it's hard when we've got 3 central midfielders but hecky needs to be harsh and tell one of them hard luck.

I'd have thought a 4-2-3-1 formation is more likely looking at the side. With either Fletcher or Toney out wide (not sure which)

And Tuton is on th bench according to the OS.

    .....................Davies
    Williams. Roberts. Mawson. White
    ............Brownhill. Hourihane........
    ..........Toney. Scowen. Hammill.....
    ....................Fletcher

    Is my guess

No, they've changed it apparently. Tuton on bench, no Harris.

Scowen was very good imho. Indeed our right side, with him and the excellent Williams was fairly untroubled despite all manner of problems coming down the left.

It will be an interesting selection. Will Watkins be fit, think he may be close. And I believe it is only 5 subs. Townsend and Nyatanga will be 2 I think. Someones going to be very disappointed

Scowen was excellent - it was his sort of game, scrappy with tackles flying in all over the pitch. He went where the danger was and was effective doing that. We have missed Isgrove's energy and ability to carry the ball 30/40 yards to ease any pressure. Williams, Roberts and Mawson were real warriors today.
