Scored 2 in 2 for west ham.

Hammers fans creaming themselves reckoning hes better than rashford and they just saved 25 million quid.

So gutted we couldnt get him back but good to see him doing well. Dont think there is any chance of us seeing him in a reds shirt again. Was hoping we may get him in Jan on loan but i think hell do the business in the prem. Quality player.

Go get en Fletch!!! :) big loss out of our team. Big reason for us going up imho.

He was ahead of Rashford in the Man Utd pecking order this time last year. Hope he does well in what I think will be a good season for West Ham.

There was never any chance of us getting him back in the first place. His early pre season form for them shows he's going to get more chances for their first team than most on here ever thought. People thought they had signed him to make up numbers and would be sent straight out on loan to further his development. If he keeps banging them in he will be fast tracked to the England team by the time of our November international break like Rashford, Walcott ect have been in the past after a few good months.

He doesn't play for one of the 'big 6' teams. No chance of him getting an England call up. Do you really think Rashford would have made it to the Euros if he played for Stoke or West Brom?

I think that Big Sam will pick a team on merit regardless of who they play for. As an ex West Ham manager I reckon guys like Carroll and Noble are closer to the England side than they were under Hodgson and Fletcher has every chance for a game too. Especially when people pull out of friendlies with "injuries" that last just until their very next club game.

He should have gone to the Euros anyway, offers a totally unique threat, but obviously Roy put zero thought into anything at all.

I'd have taken him too. Brings something different, was fresh after being out most of the season injured and was in good scoring form. Think now we will see much more of him if he can stay fit long enough that is.
