And we aren't playing any different to last half of last season.

    My back's wet through.

    'Foxy' is back.

    Butland's back from Stoke...

Daggers, Reuben and Nults out means he's been able to 'tighten the group up'.

Working hard to get 'those football wins'.

    'Alerted to'.

COG out for 10 days he hopes. Got to 'look after the human being'.

Daws came on because Kelvin was injured. Hamstring, but he's fit. Somehow.

Cywka is an impact sub. That's his role at the minute.

Are we playing any differently this season to last? 'No, absolutely not.. same style as last season'.

Lost Stonesy and Golbourne that's why we aren't playing 3-5-2.

    Can't replace them.

No, going to keep working hard, trying to get a win.

To be fair Walker quizzed him on bringing Dawson on instead of Cwyzka, that was due to an injury to Etuhu. Why it's suddenly illegal to have more than one forward minded midfielder on at any one time is beyond me.

Flicker reckons we're creating enough chances etc, and nothing has changed since last season's successful run, 'cept losing Stones and Golbourne means we can't play wing backs. Funny cos I thought Stones went in January. Never mind.

tbf he probably has a point.

The people on here that actually want him out will be a drop in the ocean in tearms of the people at Oakwell.

    Let's see on Saturday.

If we were playing in a style that was similar to last season he'd have much more support, regardless of results. But he's not.

Yes, but I'm sure the ocean of support at Oakwell will have seen what we've seen etc. Doubt 99.5% are behind him.

    He's **** at maths, btw.

“I want us to press Birmingham and give them problems”

That's what I want to see.

We won football matches last season by constantly pressing. Other methods arn't working.

Look how we did when we played like that last season against Watford, Brighton, Hull, leicester - all good teams that we beat.

Get back to playing like that and we might end up winning a fair few games.

He says we are playing like that.

Agree. But we do still press, the problem is we press in our half and not the other sides. That's why we've not scored goals but also not conceded recently.

Get Perkins/Fox/Etuhu pressing further up field and we'll be ok.

    Is it me?

The "pressing players" are surely Dawson and Tutu? They've either not been fit or not had a look in. All the rest are physically inferior to most of our opponents.

I like Flicker, but I wonder if even he seriously believes some of the things he's coming out with?

Perkins sets the tone. Always has, always will.

He's turned into the boo boy but he'll always be the first name on the team sheet for me.

I don't listen any more. Haven't done for ages. I wouldn't be able to keep up my defence of him (that I'm going to stick to until the ******* death no matter what) if I had to listen to his loony ramblings.

Made the mistake of listening to Keith Hill, I'm not falling for that again.

Either he's sticking up for his players (fair enough), he genuinely thinks what he's saying is happening (worrying) or he's given up and is just waiting for the inevitable.

Sorry Dave lad, but apart from 60 minutes against Huddersfield, the Reading match, and first half v Wednesday we've been a million miles away from last season. Unless he's on about getting done 6-0 by Charlton, there's been a few of those performances to be fair.
