Saw some of his twitter feeds from the last couple of weeks. He's really slagged off the Geordie fans by complaining about the booing and lack of support for the team. etc.
Kept commenting that he is only trying to earn a living by playing football.

God help him if he comes here and the booing starts.

    sounds just what we need

What would Mike Ashley give to offload striker Nile Ranger? He could get the chance this week, with Barnsley and MK Dons sniffing about.

Ranger has caused fury among United fans after slating supporters on Twitter following pockets of booing during the 2-1 loss to Reading – and many Geordie followers feel he should be shown the door.

Ranger has done very little to improve his attitude despite being handed yet another chance at first-team level.

The Londoner hardly helped his cause by Tweeting negative comments about fans booing and his behaviour saw his stock dip to a new low among supporters.

With fans furious about the striker’s pathetic display against Brighton in the FA Cup after they travelled the length of the country to see an inept 2-0 defeat, Ranger has almost reached the end zone in his Toon career.

Barnsley – who have taken the striker on loan once – are understood to have made an inquiry to do the same again, according to sources at Oakwell.

Whenever I hear his name I always imagine him patrolling the river in Egypt, telling us where the pyramids are and pointing out a nice place for a picnic.

Would rather have Keith Hill in charge, Scott Wiseman at centre half, Bobby Hassell loaned out to the Blunts, and then sit through a 20 minute interview where Keith calls me an uneducated lovely person.... than have that cockstain back.

It's desperate clubs like us and deluded ones like MK Dons that allow players like him to continue earning a living from a game they cannot play to any decent level. He's obviously got some talent to get where he has, but his attitude and application are shockingly inadaquate. He's like Nouble and a few others I could mention, big, athletic, fast, but possessing very little actual ability and even less footballing knowledge. Some players can play the game, but to be good you have to KNOW how to play the game. Ranger can barely manage the former. Add in his baggage and you get a player to avoid.
