Has the club left it too late in offering him a contract? Obvious how good he was, now he can name his price, although he seems to be laying down the kind of terms we'd all agree with: investment in first team squad. Board need to man up and back him and see where it takes us. Onwards and upwards if he gets his way me thinks
yeh listening to his interview flicker stoppin isnt a forgone conclusion, he's ambitious, lets see if the club are
Well surely to go the stone money can go into the first team squad. The board better not **** this up, we're on the edge of something happening with Flicker, Scott and MM
I have 100% confidence Flicker will sign up, along with Mellon and Scott. They have built something very special at BFC and Cryne / Rowing will know this. Flicker is using the "moment" to his own advantage, in that he will be telling them that we can't keep stumbling through relegation scraps and we need to invest, build and progress. I've heard Flicker say on many occasions, it's not about money (wages)........it's about investing for a better future and we have a management team that is in place, along with a good squad that needs some fine tuning ie. centre half, striker and Chris O'Grady is a MUST. Shouldn't be too difficult to agree a strategy for next season.....we have a great platform to build on.
