David Flitcroft tells me he's optimistic he'll sign a left back on Monday or Tuesday to replace Scott Golbourne #BarnsleyFC

Could mean Kennedy back to centre half.

Kennedy needs to play centre half, if only for the fact he's a left footer and because he plays left back he can also read the game well from there.

Hope so. we looked far better with 3 at the back being Fozzie, Cranie and 'TK'.

I don't get it. Golbourne hasn't been playing at LB has he?

Left wing back, which will then allow Kenneday to go back to the left of a 3 as we don't have another left back to cover Golbourne's position, meaning we've had to reshape the defence recently.

True enough, but there was no need to move Kennedy today. Cywka seemed eager enough when he came on and could have played LWB. The manager made two positional changes when one would have done.

I couldn't ever see Cywka playing wing back mate. he's a right footer and is not the most defensive-minded player. Personally, I'd have stuck McNulty at left wing back and kept the back 3 as they were a few games ago. The further McNulty is from our goal, the better.

No worries, I think we are in agreement about Kennedy. Is Reuben injured?

As far as I'm aware he is injured.
