It's very difficult to focus on anything but the events of this afternoon, and like everyone on here i'm feeling pretty low. The good news is that we have a manager bursting with positive energy and I trust him to sort the players' heads out and get them ready for Tuesday's game. I cannot imagine any number of his predecessors having a similar effect so for that we must be thankful. Let's be right here, if Keith, Sean O'Driscoll or Terry Butcher were running the show we'd be more than 1 point adrift of safety tonight. It's not going to be easy but, the league being what it is, it'll twist and turn a few times more yet. We still have a damn good chance of survival.
A knockdown blow but hopefully not a knockout blow. It will be hard but after the run we've been on since January I have to believe in Flicker still.
