Just spoke very very well on Dee Dah. Better than Hill ever did.

Good Luck to you whatever happens.

Agreed. I thought the same and he speaks genuinely imho.
Also, respect to Kennedy for signing a 3 day contract - seen no news on that this week.

Let's just get some balance into this.

First couple of minutes you'd have taken Flicker for Keefy's love child. Lots of crap about elephants in the room and such like. Total gibberish. He really annoyed me when he said these players need to get more streetwise. Well sorry, Dave, but what have you and your mate been doing these last 18 months? That really suggested the naivety and the feeling of their being out of their depth that has resulted in Hillcroft placing us in the position we now find ourselves in.

Second half of the interview: Flicker paid tribute to the effort of the players, which I believe is right. And he acknowledged the talent waiting to be tapped amongst the younger squad members, which I hope is right. His encouragement to them to give 100% every time they step out can't be faulted.

So there we have it. He sounds a really nice bloke. But I'm a nice bloke (no matter what Mr C says!). But I'd be a crap football manager. I wish Flicker good luck in whatever he tackles next.

Hope he's appointed as a number 2 if it's SoD as the new manager, as they seemingly share a similar view on how the game should be played.
