A lot of people seem to be panicking about the possibility of Flicker leaving if we go down. However, I cannot see that happening. I would have thought he's far more likely to leave if we stay up, as surely nobody is going to poach a manager who has just been relegated? I also think it's unlikely he'll be poached if we stay up to be honest, so the only way I can see him leaving is if he resigns (surely not?), or if the board decide that he is surplus to requirements and someone else will come in and do a better job. (SURELY not?!) I can't imagine that even our board would be stupid enough to dispense with the most popular manager at the club since Danny Wilson.

I can see what happens with Micky Mellon and Martin Scott will have a bearing. Presumably the club will want the same team going forward?

IF we do go down, a new employer will surely look behind the results, and see what a massive influence Flicker has had on the team since he took over - producing play-off form after x-mas. That's a massive achievement regardless of which division we play in next season.

I don't think another club will come in for Flicker. Not yet, anyway. He is still "unproven" at this level as he has only been in charge for half a season. It might be to much of a gamble for another club to take the chance on Flicker.

Yeah I took some notes but I've left them at home so will try and do the write up tonight/tomorrow. There were only 7 of us which was a bit disappointing although quite a few contacted me to say they had issues with work etc.

in the mean time, I think Dyson's notes from before the meeting probably cover it ;)

i couldn't get because of work - (6-7 is a better time personally) but i understand a lot of folk are a bit hacked off with the way we were fed duff info last time around i.e. the release clauses - and maybe thought whats the point in going if we are going to be lied to.

My thoughts exactly. I get the feeling that they are integral parts of the machine, and must be retained at all costs.
