Also talking positively about the fans rather than himself (Hill).

Indeed, it's all I've been rabbling on about tonight but I just don't want people to change their minds after the excitement from this afternoon has worn off!

Just listened to it and its inspiring. This guy can start building bridges with the fans. Massive humility. Massively honourable. Great comments about daggers. Sounds like he really really wants it. Terry who? Sean who? Appoint melon and Scott too.

Brilliant interview. Hope "the board" don't ****** it up by appointing Ronnie Branson tomorrow. Take a deep breath fellas, have Sunday off, interview/speak to Flicker Monday morning, and take it from there.

Fools rush in (as we have done twice), don't balls it up again.

I agree. And I was hugely against flicker, based on an assumption that would just continue Hill's bad work. Since then i've seen the changes he's made, and the impact on our performance. I've seen a group of players prepared to run through walls for him. I've also heard him speak.

I'm first to say I got it wrong about Flicker. With the SOD/Butcher debacle and the transfer window closing fast, this is a no brainer. Flicker is the right man to try and get us out of this.

Obviously, the Club will announce a different man tomorrow..

That's usually the case ahah. I'm just hoping that for some strange reason they read this forum and take in what people have to say.

Give Flicker the money were were going to use to bring SOD or Butcher in to find a decent striker!

Who else is there to go for though?

If it's Flicker vs Branson then surely it's a no brainer as someone said in a thread earlier

    Very Impressive

.... if only he'd done more of the ones that Hill did early last season.

    I'm warming to Flicker.

All great posts and very positive.

As I've said on other posts, Flicker is passionate about the club, he is articulate and fluent in what he says, and he shows humility. He is completely different from Keith Hill. He has the players playing for him and has shown a willingness to try a different formation, tactics and tempo.

He surely deserves a chance for the rest of the season. He has a 66% win ratio so far!!

He's already got the vast majority of fans behind him. Which is nothing short of miraculous, given where they were about a week ago!
Then I listen the Sky interview, which starts with "If this is to be my last game with the Club..."

One last balls up by The Don?

This bloke I've been talking to on Twitter claims he knows Flicker personally and that he reckons he won't get the job. Then he's said the board only kept him because they thought he would resign meaning they wouldn't have to pay compensation. I think he's talking a load of bull tbh...
