"Last night I thought JS was staying but got the call at 9.30 am to say he's going. He's a player who is impossible to replace...it's like losing a member of my family"

I'd love to get Flicker's view on all this. Has the board backed him up? Does he accept the move? Does he feel betrayed by the Board, or does he accept he would be going if the bid came in?

I'd love to get the full honest version from the man.

Think it's bad business for the club.

Glad for Stonesy if it is Everton cos reckon Moyes will make him a top player.

If Flitcroft's comments are accurate, Rowing and the rest should be pilloried! They've put at risk our chances of survival:

    1. Just when we were building up a momentum, they pull the rug from under Flitcroft's feet by disrupting the make-up of the team. And it will do NOTHING for team morale.

    2. We didn't HAVE to sell. I will not believe that we had the bank breathing down our necks, wanting us to settle any overdraft. The bank will have known that any debt would have been addressed by a sale (if needed) in May after the season's end.

    3. If we had any aspirations at all do get to the top flight - as Wigan did - those will not be achieved by flogging our best assetts.

    4. If we go down, this short-sighted sale will have been a major factor, and Rowing and the rest should be held to account.

crazy crazy move, if this didn't have flicker's blessing. completely scuppers blackpool preparations. don't be surprised if our unbeaten run comes to a sickly end on saturday :(
