Just thought I'd look it up. Take the first 14 games away and it's the worst win percentage imaginable.

This is exactly why he deserves a few more games in my opinion. He's got 55 points in less than a full season, that's a terrific record for us. He deserves the chance to prove it wasn't a fluke. I must admit though that if the Birmingham game is crap and we lose then I may lose the faith. Huge game for him and the club.

It's an interesting one, I wonder how many people would want him out had this been the start of May, had we already been safe on 55 points with 2 games to go?

Coincidentally, Flickers PPG ratio is 1.25PG which is 57.5 points over a season, for arguments sake lets round it down to 57, that's one point more than our highest tally since coming back into this division.

It's amazing how the context changes when you judge a manager over half a season rather than a full one.

None of our managers since our return to the division have managed to put a full season together, though. And I'm not sure Flicker can oversee an even bigger turnaround than he did last season, because at this rate, that's what we're looking at.

Pretty sure Davey had multiple years in charge for one.

    'Put a full season together'.

As in, get consistently decent results/points, thus achieving a better finish in the table. :)

Davey, Robins and Keith all failed to put a full season together. And Flicker will fail this season, even if he masterminds another great escape, because so far this season has been the worst in most of our living memories.
