Has anybody been watching it?

It's my new favourite thing of all time ever in the history of stuff.

    For now anyway.

You don't have to. I'm just sharing because I'm nice.

It's probably funnier in context of the show that's on BBc4 at the moment. The odd songs in it are just part of the plot. It works in the show, but it's definitely not for everyone.

Sorry mate. Wasn't being funny or anything. I've just never seen it before andI assume it is probably very popular, but I see nothing in it and wondered why.

I suppose I'm gerrin' old. The guy on the left reminds me of the actor in the IT crowd by the way.

I started watching the first episode but gave up after about 20 minutes because it didn't hook me, I've just sat and watched 3 or 4 of the songs and had a good old chuckle - perhaps I ought to give it another go.

I appreciate that. I think it is a grower, but I guess it's like any type of comedy you take it or leave it. It may well not take off.

The premise is that they're a New Zealand progressive folk band or something based in America and their manager is also the agent that's promoting New Zealand to the Americans. They've had 2 gigs booked in however long they've been there, 1 was cancelled and the other was at a stand to promote New Zealand at a conference.

Looking on Youtube, they've clearly been doing the circuits for a while.

I'd say it's worth it, but then I'm hooked anyway!

Saw 'em in that London a couple of years ago - very funny. Haven't seen the TV show yet though - when's it on?

Welcome back, you'll have to let me know what you got up to, apart from murdering people in the outback. Yes I went to the Southampton game but was very disappointed that Hristov didn't get a run out.

    Its good...

but its no 'News At Ten', although that has been a bit patchy since it went to the half ten slot. Also, some of their sketches recently have been a bit too political and boring. And some of their sketches are a bit too close to the bone, all that terrorism stuff and the Maddy case too, its a bit too close to being real, you know.

I like the character who plays the female newsreader, how she refuses to sit behind the news-desk and is always going on about the news and that, hilarious.

Oh and the Weathergirl/boy, also excellent - "tomorrow will be 15 degrees and slightly overcast" pfffffffffftttttt. Does remind me of the Fast Show Scorchio woman, but is much funnier.

Why is it called "Flying with Concordes'?

See now your just trying to be popular with the cult following type thing. The news at 10 is never as ironically clever and pretentious as Bob Holness was on Blockbusters when I was a student, or Richard and Judy.

I liked Rocky Horror before it was written and Eddie Izzard before he was born.

Richard, of 'Richard and Judy' fame was a student?

I find that hard to swallow.

No, IOWT, I find it hard to swallow, just put it away.
