How much abuse was thrown Flinders way yesterday through the slightest mistake. I lost count of nonsence comments some people were coming out with. " Flinders your flipping rubbish " ... " Whens flipping Colgan back " etc... I couldn't believe it, Pathetic. It didn't just come from kids.
Seriously Wasnt there so cant comment but unfortunately I have seen this sort of thing happen so often I wont be surprised. We seem to have a section of fans who are only happy destroying the confidence of our young players.</p> According to the commentary Flinders had a good game and made some decent saves - but even if he had a bad game - that happens - in Particular young players have off games every now and then. Especially if under pressure.</p> (I seem to remember Colgan having the odd bad game last season as well)</p>
He kept us on top with a world class save in the 2nd half... and if it had been Cech or any of the rest...well, you get the rest, i'm sure.
RE: Seriously in the 2 games we have played in he has directly responsible for both of the goals that we have let in. the lad has huge potential, but is not ready yet.
