    <span lang="EN-GB">BARNSLEY Football Club are delighted toannounce that young goalkeeper Scott Flinders has today penned aextension to his current contract keeping him at Oakwell until thesummer of 2008.</span></p>

    <span lang="EN-GB">Scott made the breakthrough into the first teamat the end of last season and impressed during his eleven appearances.His end of season displays earned a call up to the England U20 squadfor last summer's Toulon Tournament, where he went on to win four caps.</span></p>

    <span lang="EN-GB">The giant 19-year-old has been on the bench forthe opening four league matches this term and won a furtherinternational cap in last week's U20 game in Russia.</span></p>
