Unproven, unconvincing, far from the finished article. Worth a possible million? Not on the evidence we've seen thus far. Yet that is what Pal-arse might end up having to pay. Believe me, we've got the best deal by far. We've cashed in big style on a player that the jury's still out on. Cracking business which will hopefully fund a few more signings, which is far more important than keeping an uncertain prospect.

Have to agree whole heartedly on that one. Do we take the risk of Flinders developing and then leaving at the end of next seaon and getting a pittence in compensation. Remember there is no loyalty in the game.

Agree. We used Taylor`s desire to sign up Flinder`s and struck a deal by getting this other guy too.
Seem`s like a prudent bit of dealing to me. Port Vale were after him and Palace fan`s wanted him to stay.

    and another thing

The days of the £2 million player are over- Bosman, the financial crisis in football and cheaper overseas imports have proved that. In the current market to get the price we have for a 2nd string keeper who would probably leave at the end of the season is good business. Who cares how they tarted up the Togwell deal, we seem to have signed the kind of player we have been crying out for.
