    It's certainly looking that way. If we win on Saturday I would fully expect an announcement shortly after to the effect that he will remain in charge for the rest of the season, after which he'll probably get taken on full time. Which then means that our next manager, about this time next year, will be Micky Mellon.

    To be honest, I couldn't really decide who I wanted between Ince/Butcher in first place.........so not a lot lost for me (definitely didn't want SO'D) apart from the wider media embarassment for the Club.

    if mickey mellon gets it i'm flitting from the ponty to the west stand.I sat at the side of the dugout against burnley and mellon alone was worth the entry fee.even the fourth official couldnt stop grinnin at him.
