2/7 with SkyBet, 1/4 with BetVictor, who are the only two running books. This has changed in the last hour, so something has triggered this (presumably) run of money.
Cannot see Flitcroft getting job........he's been part of the football management set up that has failed, so why would you give him the job? What he does have in his favour is that he is available and cheap!
Stan James and BetVictor now look like they've closed the books at the moment. As per oddschecker.com, the only active market is with SkyBet.
would be astonished. the reason for sacking hill, was to give us a chance of retain our championship status. not even the don would be mad enough to think the assistant could be the answer.
It could simply be that there's been a run of bets on Flitcroft and the books will re-open tomorrow when the (non)-news settles down. Can't find anything to suggest it's anything more than this, as yet.
If we sack the manager, then the assistant has to follow. It's the same ideas We'll go for the cheap option as normal
Hill and Flicker both live in Bolton, are best mates, and both arrive at the WELL every day in the same car. They are both equal parts of the same management team When Barnsley and Keith Hill signed any player; Flicker was part of that decision When any team selection or tactic was decided at Barnsley in the last 18 months then Flicker was part of that decision So why why why...........would anyone sack Keith Hill...........but keep Flicker ??? !!!!!!!!!!!!! Dosent add up and I just cant see this happening unless of course.......THE DON has had secret talks with Flicker and realises that Keith is just the mouth piece that needs to be got shut of..........while Flicker is the one with the football knowledge who can do a job for Barnsley But........I just cant see this happening I would be shocked if it was Flicker
Hill's goafer, brilliant. Well, wasn't Danny Wilson Viv Anderson's goafer before he took over? Get ready for promotion to the Prem next season.
He's stood on the tee looking at a 550 yd straight Par 5 with a fairway as wide as Yorkshire, he pulls an 8 iron out of the bag..........no thanks
Jeez, shortened further to 1/8 now! David Flitcroft 1/8 Phil Brown 7 Sean ODriscoll 7 Gary Megson 12 Billy Davies 20 John Sheridan 20 Nick Barmby 22 Steve Cotterill 22 Alan Irvine 25 Mark Yates 28 Paul Tisdale 28 Phil Parkinson 28 Steve Kean 28 Craig Levein 33 Owen Coyle 40
I'm hoping so, but that news broke this morning and didn't affect the prices greatly. These price changes are all within the last hour.
