Why on earth were the floodlights switched on for the full match yesterday? A bright sunny day without a cloud in the sky. Every Tuesday night game we have to walk through the Ponty end car-park in pitch darkness (Presumably a cost-saving venture) even though there are about 10 floodlights to illuminate the area. All that cost-saving thrown away by switching on about 100 floodlights for an hour and a half when it was totally unnecessary.
Doubt it - Palace didnt have the floodlights on during the first half last week when the weather was a lot duller than it was at oakwell this week. Also it makes no sense why have have a rule that states floodlights should be on for a football match played in bright sunlight
yes it was thi weekend when the premier league start playing the yellow ball and all that garbage too
