Decided to start with Chelsea (light relief after struggling with the reds)
I've had two penalty shoot outs this season, one in the Charity shield and one in the FA cup. I won both of them but when I returned to the main screen it said that I had lost.
Anyone else experienced this or know how to stop it?

Is it just the news screen that says you've lost but the records etc show you as won it?

    Had that on FM05

    unfortunately not

Both come up in the records as lost games. Really annoying.
I've posted on an FM forum...it appears I need to get a patch.

go the the website and download the latest patch. there's a bulletin board there too so you can report the bug and they will do something about it in the next update.

They correct the bugs in the game that exist because SI don't test the game well enough and are happy to put out a bug-riddled product.
They've done it for years - just as well it's such a quality game that people buy regardless.

If you go to the SI Games website it'll tell you all the bugs that the patch fixes.

    Reight....cheers all.
It seems that the patch is the way to go. Pain the arse though and it won't change the fact that I'm out of the FA Cup!! :pff

You download and then have an icon in your download folder, double click and this should install it - it will automatically look for your FM06 directory.

Piss poor testing - I can understand how certain things can sneak through but how they didn't spot that one is amazing!
