Quite happy with my meteroric rise to fame on it

SWANSEA = Promoted to Lge 1,following season missd out on promotion to Champ by goal difference ---> PLYMOUTH = Championship champions, stayed up in prem following season ---> BARNSLEY = automatic promotion to Championship ---> EVERTON = finished 6th and into Euro Cup,following season finished 4th and Champions League qualification ---> CHELSEA = Present game

In 2011 at minute, not bad progression eh??

I used 4-1-3-2 at all clubs except for Everton & Chelsea where i played 4-4-2

For the 4-1-3-2 you want a good DMC to sit in front of defence, your midfield can be made up of either 3 MC or AM/R, MC, AM/L

4-4-2 only really works with players like DUFF on wing, they have to be natural wingers

    AM/L MC AM/R

I don't have any arrows on tactics, just let em play in that position

A typical midfield at Plymouth was

Damien Delaney David Friio Robbie Blake

i.e a natural left footer, goalscoring centre and a natural right footed winger. With the like of Riccy Scimeca behind them or a Paul Reid type player, you know D/MC or DMC

Try and make sure you have two first team players for every position, you don't want to be trying to wing it with a 19yr old in team as soon as your first choice is injured

    Competition for places is healthy

    Although

I have played 3 MC players at same time, just try and make sure though that one is left footed to play on left,it shouldn't matter too much, but it certainley is better

5 clubs in 7 or 8 seasons! That's some going!

I'm in 2014-15 and still with Barnsley, finished 4th in Premier last season....amongst others turned down jobs at Newcastle, Arsenal, Chelsea and Barcelona

I know, i'm such a sucker for lure of a bigger club.Although really proud that i left Plymouth in premier league with loads a of good players,Cisse,Saha,Joe Cole,Tiago to manage Barnsley then in lge 1 and 13th in december, took up in 2nd place

What a game,i'm such a slag on it though, always moving to pastures new.LOL

McPhail's excellent on the left of the 3-man midfield, I sold him for £5m to Blackburn when I got into the Premiership with Tarn.

Was a top player for me but left on a Bosman to go to Reading and whilst we went on to the Premier he's largely been in the Championship/League 1

    Bl**dy p*ssed off!

Had a short session last night - won league game away to Wolves, hammered Derby in 5th rd of cup 4-1, despite having a defender sent off in 1st half when it was only 1-0, lost league match against Blackburn. First time I've got to 1/4 final of FA Cup, got drawn home to lower league Hull, most of the top sides have already been knocked out with exception of Arsenal (Hull beat Man Utd last round with their only shot on goal versus Utd's 24!)
PC locks up and I lose it! So have to play that again....no doubt next time I'll end up with Arsenal away!
3 times recently I've had it crap out on me.

Worse when you've a couple of weeks game time without a match (I've had cases when I've played a hour or more and not had a match), might have to start saving it after such periods.
Happened at the end of my last season when I'd had a long session, playing 8 or 9 matches to finish in 4th and qualify for Champions League for first time - took me ages to replay through that again so I got 4th, and of course other things dn't work out the same.
Wouldn't be surprised in this if Man Utd win their cup match and I end up drawn away to them! Funny how these crashes only seem to happen when I've had a good session!
